Domestic and Family Violence Response Training (DV-alert) is designed to build capacity in frontline workers within the health, allied health, education, childcare and community sectors for whom family violence is not a core function of their role.

Learn how to:

  • Recognise the signs of domestic and family violence
  • Respond with appropriate care
  • Refer effectively to support services.

DV-alert is committed to ending violence against women and children by empowering frontline workers to respond confidently to those in crisis. We deliver domestic and family violence response training with care and compassion in a safe space where workshop participants can learn, connect and share. DV-alert training is funded by the Department of Social Services and workshop attendance is at no cost for frontline workers.

Please visit www.dvalert.org.au to apply for a place in a workshop near you.

Training is delivered on behalf of Lifeline Australia RTO 88036.

DV-alert is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. Go to www.dss.gov.au for more information.

This training program is NOT intended to equip participants to undertake therapeutic or counselling work.
